Pawel Tomasz Wasilewski, also known by the name Paul Wesley, is an Oscar-winning director and actor most well-known for his part in the popular television drama the show The Vampire Diaries. In the show, he's earned several awards and nominations such as The Teen Choice Awards as well as the Young Hollywood Awards. Wesley is a US-born actor who began acting when he was in school. After that, he enrolled in Rutgers University. After realizing that his acting abilities could lead to a successful career, he chose to drop out. The well-known American TV soap Another World was his first TV role. His next TV role was in The CBS series Wolf Lake. His career took a turn at a stage when he was cast in the character Stefan Salvatore, in the popular American television series The Vampire Diaries. He has directed a few episodes in the series in addition. In the years following his debut as a film star on The Last Run, he appeared in many other movies.
